What we collect

• Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, the dates you're interested in, number of guests, and your message. The form is handled by our website host, Netlify (Netlify Forms), which stores the submission and passes it to us.
• Emails. If you email our inquiry address, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

We use this information only to reply to you and help with your stay.

Meta Pixel and cookies

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It uses cookies and similar technology to record visits to the site and actions such as clicking a booking or email link. We use it to measure how our ads perform and to show ads to people who have visited the site (retargeting). Meta receives this information and handles it under its own privacy policy.

To opt out, you can:

• Change your ad settings in Meta's Ad Preferences if you have a Facebook or Instagram account.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's tracking protection features.

Fonts

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when you view a page. Google handles that under its own privacy policy.

Booking

Bookings aren't made on this site. When you book, you do it on a third-party site: Ocean Reef Resorts, Airbnb, or VRBO. Those companies collect and use your information under their own privacy policies.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell your personal information.

Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Deleting your information

To ask us to delete information you've sent us, email goldenhourdunes@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
